Donna is serving another year on the Montmorency Conservation District board. She was elected as our new Chairman. Donna has served the district as administrator for 22 years. She brings a wealth of experience and continuity to our operations. She has been a longtime resident of Hillman.
Rick is a new board member (3 year term). He has always had an interest in conservation. Rick enjoys camping, hiking and backpacking. He has visited most national parks twice. He is a supporter of organizations such as “Defenders of Wildlife”, “Sierra Club”, “National Wildlife”, “Arbor Day”, “National Parks”, “Rocky Mountain Nature Association”, “WWF”, and “NRDC”. He is interested in wildlife habitat and conservation and looks forward to making a difference in his new role as a Director. He and his wife Patricia reside in the Hillman area.
Elaine is a returning Board member. Not only has she served as the Board Chair for many years she has always stayed active with the Conservation District. She is retired from the DNR and her knowledge of natural resources and this community is a great asset for our District.
Jim is a returning board member, acting for the interim. Jim’s family has maintained a hunting camp since the early 1960’s along with a family ‘trout cabin’ located on the Gilchrist Creek in central Montmorency County. He has over 37 years’ experience in Material Control and was responsible for Quality Systems and Procurement. He was also a General Manager for Omni Metalcraft. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, woodworking and just being outdoors.
Tom is a returning Board member, also acting for the interim. Tom has a long history with the Montmorency Conservation District as both a Board member and an employee. His vast experience will be great insight for our District.
