The Montmorency
Conservation District would like to thank you for supporting us since our
inception more than a half century ago. We appreciate your business
and look forward to serving you for years to come.

office is open Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., closed Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
Our office is located in the Montmorency County Fairgrounds on M-33, just
north of Atlanta.
The Montmorency
Conservation District is a local unit of government geared at the protection
of our natural resources. Along with our technical staff we also provide
several services to the people of Montmorency County, which is located
in Northeastern Lower Michigan. Some of the services are listed below.
WEEKLY ARTICLES
Each week we will be placing articles on our website that cover a variety of subjects related soil conservation and trees. Please click here to view all of our articles.
PLAT BOOKS
We have the 2011 Montmorency County plat books available in the office for you to purchase. To order a Plat Book online, please click here.
The 2011 edition of the Montmorency County plat book is now available on a CD in addition to the book form. The CD file is in PDF format and has all the information contained in the printed book. SOIL SURVEY INFORMATION
The district
has a completed soil survey for Montmorency County. Copies are now
available at the conservation district office. The district is able
to reproduce soils maps and any other soil information that you need.
Feel free to contact us with any soils questions that you may have.
TOPOGRAPHICAL MAPS
You may purchase
topographical maps for Montmorency County in our office. The maps
show contour lines and symbols that represent such features as streets,
buildings, streams, swamps and woods. There are twenty two maps covering
Montmorency County.
TREE SALES
We hold tree sales twice a year,
and offer a large variety of trees and plants for you to purchase.
